SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Yu Darvish will be the opening day starter for the Rangers. Manager Ron Washington says he informed Darvish on Tuesday morning that the right-hander from Japan will start March 31 against Philadelphia at home. Darvish is going into his third major league season. He started the second game last season, when he came within one out of a perfect game against Houston. He went on to lead the majors with 277 strikeouts and finish second in the AL Cy Young Award voting. The last Rangers starter with consecutive opening day starts was Kevin Millwood from 2006 to 2009. Darvish will be the sixth different opening day starter in six years for Texas. Matt Harrison started last years opener. Carlos Lee Astros Jersey . Both of Padakins goals came in the second period while Zane Jones added a single in the first period for Calgary (13-6-4). Hitmen goaltender Chris Driedger finished with 30 saves for the shutout. Robinson Chirinos Astros Jersey . The attacking midfielder arrives on a free transfer from Spains Malaga. The 28-year-old joins Scottish striker Kenny Miller and Argentine midfielder Matias Laba as designated players on the Whitecaps roster. http://www.baseballastrosproshop.com/cr ... os-jersey/. Groves signed with Cleveland as an unrestricted free agent last year after a season with Arizona. He was in the linebacker rotation and had a sack in the season opener against Miami. Jose Altuve Astros Jersey . The 28-year-old from Rochester, Alta., was selected by the Redblacks from the Saskatchewan Roughriders roster in the 2013 CFL Expansion Draft. Brad Peacock Jersey . The Italian football federation announced the appointment, three days after new president Carlo Tavecchio was elected. Tavecchio and Conte spoke on the phone early Thursday. The Atlanta Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers 48-33, as their top players also rewarded fantasy owners in week four. Quarterback - Matt RyanThe Atlanta Falcons quarterback threw for 500 yards and four touchdowns to lead all passers in fantasy points this week. Ryan has been in the top six QBs in three of the first four weeks of the season. The performance was all the more impressive because the Carolina Panthers defence is widely regarded as one of the best in the league. Credit to Steelers passer Ben Roethlisberger who had five touchdown passes and 300 yards without interception, leading Pittsburgh to a 43-14 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Likelihood is that if you had one of these two, they also led you to fantasy victory.Running back - DeMarco MurrayThe Tennessee Titans power-back has rediscovered some of the form that won him the 2014 rushing title. A disappointing season in Philadelphia last year is fast becoming a distant memory as Murray ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns in the Titans 27-20 loss to divisional rivals Houston Texans. DeMarco Murray scored two touchdowns in the Titans 27-20 division loss Wide receiver - Julio JonesFor the first time in 50 years, the NFL saw a quarterback and wide receiver combine for 500 passing yards and 300 receiving. Jones only had one touchdown but it was for a 75-yard touchdown, and the six-year veteran averaged 25 yards per reception. Highlights of the Carolina Panthers clash with the Atlanta Falcons in week four of the NFL Michael Crabtree scored three touchdowns in the Oakland Raiders 287-27 road win over the Baltimore Ravens.dddddddddddd Crabtree had 12 catches for 88 yards and was a popular redzone target for quarterback Derek Carr.Tight end - Jordan ReedThe Redskins got back to 2-2 for the season as Reed provided two first quarter scores to give Washington a 14-0 lead. Reed was the only tight end to get two touchdowns this week. Vikings beat Giants to go 4-0 The Minnesota Vikings extended their unbeaten run with a 24-10 victory over the New York Giants. Kicker - Mike NugentWith five field goals, including three from beyond the 40-yard line, Nugent tops this weeks kicker rankings. The Cincinnati kicker has 12 FGs, but is yet to score from 50+ yards.Defence - Los Angeles RamsAfter a slow start to life in Hollywood, the Rams are beginning to deliver on the promise of becoming a top NFL defence. Three sacks, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries was enough to contain the Arizona Cardinals to just 13 points. Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald had 1.5 sacks and five tackles as Los Angeles beat Arizona 17-13 Special commendation to the Buffalo Bills who shut out the New England Patriots on the road, the first time New England have failed to score at home since 1993.
